Why do people care more about the white than a person from another race ?

as i was growing up i seen in todays society people are more inclined to help the white man in canada i seen many people like coloured would lose a loved one and pepel would not care but when a white peorson is killed or abducted it is like the end of the world can some [plesase help me with this question it is for skool
