College Golf Walk-Ons?

I am a senior 08-09 im a 10 handicap and playing towards a 7-8 by the end of the season..i just started playing on my golf team last year and made it this year.i was curious if like a d2 school like Florida southern had golf tryouts...i also am friends with an alumni and former golfer from that school...do they have walk ons (tryouts) and if not what other d2 schools have tryouts
