I agree. It's too easy to write a one hit wonder and cash in based on the generic tortuous turmoil of a personal situation most every other person in the world has or is also experiencing in their lives...as Henry Rollins says "I'll tell you things that you already know so you can say I really identify with you so much"...there's no thought provoking artistry in lyrical content these days...definitely nothing likened to the Pink Floyd years, etc.
