Sound For Music But Not For Online Videos?

I dowloaded Audacity to do some recording for voice and messed around in configuring mic volume and speaker volume. After trying to put back things to its original imput and setting I know am left with no sound for online videos. I can play music in WMP and I hear sounds for windows but no sound for online stuff. Nothing is muted in the sound control panel....
