Moving to Ukraine....advice on finding jobs?

i want to move from the USA. I traveled the world, and I'm fascinated with Russian and Ukrainian culture. I want to move there. I have a Masters Degree in Energy Utilities and a bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I have a huge chunk of money i could live off of very comfortably in these countries. I know the requirements to become a legal citizen and i cannot fulfill these because I cannot speak fluent Russian/ Ukrainian. Will I have a hard time finding a "job" somewhere? and will the governments really care if I overstay my 3 month period? can I claim political asylum or something? please help me i need out NOW...thanks :-)
