Can i get some information about MCV4?

Today i got my vaccinations, Hep. A, T-DAP, and varicella (chicken pocks). and the nurse asked if i wanted the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine which is the vaccine that pervents Meningitis. I know Meningitis is VERY VERY serious illness. BUT i decided not to get it that day because i know nothing about the vaccination. I have a few questions. Can i actually get Meningitis through the vaccine? because i know that they actually give the virus or bacteria in very small doses so your body builds up anti-bodies to it, so can i get it from the vaccination? a is the vaccine effective against meningitis and what does types of meningitis does it protect against?
